Synthesis of colors

Description

The experiment has the purpose to explain what does additive synthesis mean. It is realized using a light-board, a sheet of thin pasteboard with three holes, in everyone of those a filter (red, green or blue) is set, and three mirrors.
Explanation

This experiment shows how you can obtain every color using only three colors of the correct intensity, called fundamental colors. If you put the pasteboard on the plane of the light-board, you can obtain three colored beams. Then by the help of three mirrors you can project these beams on a white screen. Now you can superpose the three colors in different ways (see the pictures); you can particularly notice that if you superpose all the three fundamental colors you obtain "white" light.
